Yardplug's is a
locally owned business serving a limited area in
Topeka. Yardplug was started to assist homeowners who
maintain their own lawn but are dissatisfied with
lawn care services or renting poor quality aerators.
I
personally have rented core aerators for between $15-$20 an hour with a
two hour minimum. Those "rental" units were very heavy
and required "quite a bit of muscle" to operate,
not to mention the problems of loading and unloading. In
addition, the "rental" aerators never performed
satisfactory.
After extensive research and looking at the Topeka market, I
decided to purchased a camshaft
driven aerator which doesn't depend upon the weight of the machine to
pull plugs like drum rotating tine aerators. The
aerator I use has a 22" wide plugging base with superior
maneuverability allowing quality aeration in tight spots not
usually accessible to typical rotating tine machines.

We would be happy to aerate your lawn if you live within
2
miles of the VA hospital on Gage and 21st. This is the area
we are
currently servicing to keep costs low. We don't give bids because
the bidding process takes time and gas, which you the
customer, pay for one way or another. Take a look
